Ray-ban Men

Ray-Ban is a manufacturer of sunglasses, founded in 1937 by Bausch & Lomb. In 1999, Bausch & Lomb sold the brand to the Luxottica Group.

In 1927, after crossing the Atlantic in a balloon, that Lieutenant John MacCready ask the German optician emigrated to the United States to imagine Bausch & Lomb eye "protective wrap and panoramic. RB3 glass, green and filtering ultraviolet and infrared, is created three years later.

The U.S. Air Force command in 1933, a model for its fighter pilots, who took the name of its marketing Aviator in 1936. In 2006, Ray-Ban has sold 14 million pairs of eyeglasses.

On December 9, 2008, Bowery Ballroom (New York) hosted the concert Ray-Ban Remasters, who presented the sunglasses Rayban Clubmaster, inspired by models of the 50s. The event brought together a large number of bands rock 'n' roll celebrities distribution of Gossip Girl, Blake Lively as Joshua Jackson, Diane Kruger.
